Meet Dr. Ashley Olivarez (La Porte, TX)

Ashley Olivarez, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word’s Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2017. She also earned her undergraduate degree in Vision Science from the University of the Incarnate Word. Dr. Olivarez is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Her special field of interest is myopia control.

Dr. Olivarez understood the importance of good vision after having worn glasses since childhood. She recalls that her doctor made her office eye exams very positive experiences. As a result, she became interested in optometry as her way to be able to help others just as her doctor had helped her.

In practice since 2017, Dr. Olivarez values the relationships she builds with her patients, and she is passionate about having a positive impact in their lives by providing high-quality eye care.
